There are two categories of bias in studies today: conscious or explicit biases and unconscious or implicit biases. Unconscious bias is usually considered social stereotypes that focus on others who are not from the same conscious area. This workshop will focus on the various types of unconscious biases, identify where they originate, and how they affect our decision-making and the effects in the workplace. *LUNCH IS INCLUDED
