This course is a continuation of Math & Machinery’s Handbook 1 using the reference resource most widely used but industry, The Machinery’s Handbook. Students will solve practical industry problems using mathematical concepts and the Machinery’s Handbook. Content includes: sheaves & belts, bearings, wire rope, chain, o-rings, springs, mechanics, material properties, heat treating & hardness, strength of materials, and various manufacturing methods. Prerequisite: Math & Machinery’s Handbook I.
