Designed to fulfill personnel needs in maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. Instruction includes components, their symbol representations, and electrical codes and standards. Students will learn about electrical quantities, basic circuits, symbols and diagrams, test instrumentation, electrical safety, control logic, input control devices, solenoids, relays, generators, motors, and maintenance in industrial applications. Considerations for corrective and preventive maintenance are stressed using a practical results-oriented approach. Prerequisite: Basic Electricity and AC Fundamentals
